Sisu provides rich layers of black cherry, sage, and a bit of earth perfectly integrated with a hint of cedar-y oak. This wine is a delight on the palePe with ripe tannins and great depth and flavor.
Sisu, a Finnish word, best defines Finns and means patience, perseverance, and stamina. I find it apropos not only for the culture in which I was raised, but for the pursuit we’ve embarked on. Since our reason for moving to the Westside of Paso Robles was to pursue making memorable Rhone blends, it was only fitting to name this classic blend sisu.
