Lothario gives spectacular aromas of red berries that continue on the entry. The flavors shift gears to an intense, complex, spicy, and long finish. Given that the wine is still very young allow plenty of time to breathe in order for the wine to unfold.
Lothario was named for our friend, Lothar, who gave us an opportunity to finally realize our dream of building a winery in Paso Robles. The blend initially resulted from leftovers of each of the component varietals after blending the 2005 vintage. We felt compelled to experiment, and were so pleased with the result, that we have made Lothario one of our core offerings.
