The 2008 vaalea has the aroma of pineapple and other tropical fruits. It was produced with no malolactic fermentation, which results in a clean, crisp flavor, with wonderful acidity, and a long, complex finish.
vaalea (Finnish for fair, light, white) is the first white wine produced by kukkula. Rhone varietals were chosen because the Westside of Paso Robles offers ideal growing conditions.
