This is a nod to my career spent as a financial advisor, and also the one acre sliver of Cabernet Sauvignon on the property when we purchased it. This was the only block of vines. The rest were walnut trees.

i.p.o. is typically 75-80% Cabernet with small amounts of Syrah and Zinfandel. In 2009, when we were building our winery, we tore out the one acre irrigated block and own rooted Cab block, increased it to three acres that is organically dry-farmed like all of our other acreage.
