Finnish for, "patience, perseverance, and stamina", this is a word that is used to describe the Finnish people. It’s considered a big compliment to tell a Finn that they possess “sisu”.

Since I was most interested in making Rhone blends, a GSM is the stereotypical Rhone blend, and sisu is the word that most defines us Finns, I thought it made sense to name this blend sisu.

sisu is generally about half Syrah and close to equal parts of Grenache and Mourvedre.
